Data Analyst Required at Guildford College - Apply on LinkedIn

Post by robinwilson16 » Fri Feb 17, 2017 1:40 am

Is anyone interested in coming to work for me in the MIS Systems Team as a Data Analyst?

You will work alongside me and one other Data Analyst developing a range of reports using SQL Management Studio (SSMS) and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).

Knowledge of the UNIT-e database would be an advantage but not essential. The same can be said of other systems such as the FIS and ProAchieve databases.

Salary is: £27,267 - £30,690 per annum but hopefully it’s not all about the money and you will hopefully find the work rewarding too!

We promote the use of new tools and technologies with plans to move to SQL Server 2016 this year and you will be provided with training on the main college systems and there may be opportunities for other development work (such as C#) depending on your skillset.

Apply today directly on LinkedIn:

My LinkedIn profile is here so you can see who you would be working with (my background is in Computing and also Lecturing and I have always worked in education):

There are also other benefits such as free parking, a good pension and we also keep the cupboard well stocked with a range of teas.

If you can tell me what this outputs then you are my kind of person:

Lastly if you are in the area I will be attending this SQLSurrey Pass Meetup on index consolidation on Monday at 7PM over the road in the Stoke pub so I could have an informal chat with you afterwards (apparently there is free pizza too if you RSVP!). ... bin-wilson

Guildford College is also hosting the next South UNIT-e user group on 3rd March so I’ll be around then too as long as Ofsted don’t decide to show up then in which case I’ll be locked in my office coding away.
